About the Event

The “Consultation Workshop,” the first phase of the Low-Carbon Roadmap for the Turkish Glass Industry project supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), will be held as a satellite event alongside our conference.
Led by Glass Futures, this workshop brings together key stakeholders from across the glass value chain to gather insights, exchange perspectives, and contribute to shaping a comprehensive decarbonisation pathway for the sector. The initiative aims to support Türkiye’s transition towards a low-carbon, sustainable and competitive glass industry aligned with national and international climate goals. 

Why It Matters

The project focuses on developing a strategic roadmap that will guide the progressive decarbonisation of the Turkish glass industry, supporting both policy and investment decisions required for a cleaner and more resilient future.
Through collaboration between industry leaders, policymakers and experts, the workshop will play a key role in identifying challenges, opportunities and practical solutions for reducing carbon emissions across the sector.
