Presentation

Artificial intelligence has evolved from a supporting tool into a strategic layer that is rebuilding the entire value chain of the manufacturing sector — from ideation and visualization to similarity analysis, IP and registration monitoring, portfolio management, new product development, production line optimization, and quality control. The emerging concept of the "Frontier Firm" describes organizations that bring together human expertise, generative AI, and autonomous agents within a shared operating model — and industrial production and design sit at the very center of this transformation.
This session explores, through the lens of the strategic partnership with NVIDIA, how generative and multimodal AI deliver step-change gains in speed, quality, discovery, and scalability for production and design teams. In the context of glass houseware and industrial manufacturing, it examines concrete scenarios such as similarity search, IP and registration monitoring, detection of equivalent products in the market, portfolio enrichment, photorealistic rendering, and digital-twin-based simulation of production processes — discussed from the perspective of integrating with existing workflows.
At the heart of the approach is positioning AI not as a replacement for human expertise, but as a collaborative intelligence that strengthens people, accelerates their intuition, and scales both their creative and operational output. The session also offers practical guidance on data privacy, IP and copyright sensitivity, model governance, and the business–IT operating model, equipping participants with a clear perspective on the journey to becoming a "frontier firm" in the global glass and manufacturing industry.
